Welcome New ADA Rep Wayne Loeschke
Welcome New ADA Rep Wayne Loeschke
By Karl Remick, ADA VP
The American Darters Association (ADA) would like to welcome our newest Representative, Wayne Loeschke, to our dart family! Wayne is representing the greater Charles/St. Mary County, Maryland area.
Like our other latest representative Tammie Hurley-York, Wayne has been involved with the ADA before! “It’s great seeing all these past members step up to become Representative’s of their new areas”, commented ADA CEO Gloria Remick. Not only is Wayne an ADA Representative but also a new Radikal USA Darts Operator.
Wayne was introduced to the ADA/American Dart League by former ADA Rep Rob Coleman in ADA Area 236 Virginia back in 2002. Though Wayne didn’t start there, his first dart was tossed while he was stationed in Minneapolis, MN at a small bar called My Place. There was one soft tip machine and after frequenting the bar quite a bit, Mike the owner finally put a set of darts in his hand and Wayne was instantly hooked to the game.
The new Maryland Rep has played in multiple leagues, organized dart fundraisers, attended National Tournaments and events and even finished first in the Military Cup Challenge while accepting the MVP in the same year.
He proudly served in the United States Military for 20 years, 1980 – 2000. From there he continued his career with a government position at the Naval Air Station at Patuxent River Maryland Navy Base.
When Wayne isn’t operating his machines and promoting the sport, he enjoys fishing, exploring the area and tasting the delicious seafood on the eastcoast.
Wayne adds, “I am happy to be part of the ADA family again and look forward to working with everyone and promoting darts in the southern Maryland area”.
