Welcome New ADA Rep Tim Goodwin!

The American Darters Association (ADA) would like to welcome our newest Representative, Tim Goodwin, to our dart family!  Tim is representing the greater Phoenix/Maricopa County, Arizona area.  

Tim first joined the ADA back in 1999, right here in St. Louis.  He played in both Missouri and Illinois ADL Leagues, both soft tip and steel tip.  His favorite ADA moment was taking first place with his 4 person, Team League, Steel Tip Team.  “Our picture is still posted in the Hotshots O’Fallon, IL location.  Along with first place, I was also MVP of the league and still have the trophy,” Tim mentioned.  Now he takes a step up to an ADA Representative this Spring.

Tim has his hands in all aspects of darts, and why not?  He started learning the game when he was just old enough to climb a chair and stick darts in the steel tip board at his parents house.  “My brother and I didn’t start playing competitively in leagues and tournaments until the age of 17.  Which puts me at about 15 years of playing on and off.  I look forward to playing and enjoying the ADA Nationals this year in Dallas, and hope I will be bringing a crowd with me!”

Along with playing in leagues and tournaments, Tim also owns and operates an Amusement Business; Goodwin Bros. Vending.  He focuses operations on DARTSLIVE Soft Tip machines, and has 45 of them in the greater Phoenix area.  Goodwin Bros. Vending has been in operation for 2 1/2 years now and still going strong.

When Tim is not on the dart board he enjoys hanging out with his son Kaden, cruising on his motorcycle, golfing, camping, shooting, to name just a few.
