Welcome New ADA Rep Tammie Hurley-York!

The American Darters Association (ADA) would like to welcome our newest Representative, Tammie Hurley-York, to our dart family!  Tammie is representing the greater Nashville/Rutherford County, Tennessee area.

Tammie got her first taste of the ADA/American Dart League in 2005 when she owned her own bar Blondie’s in Clarksville TN.  She owned the location for about 5 years.  Tammie hosted teams for a couple sessions then decided to sell the venue and make a change moving further south to the greater Nashville area.  “Owning your own bar was very rewarding, sometimes I miss it” adds Tammie.

Now without the bar stopping her from getting out, she travels to Dart Tournaments both near and far throughout the year.  Hence us meeting up in Knoxville last month at the Bullshooter.  Tammie throws on both sides of the board, soft and steel,  “I like throwing both soft and steel tip.  That way there’s always something going on”.  Which is perfect since the ADA promotes both the soft and steel tip side.

Tammie threw her first dart 20 years ago in a local independent league.  She liked the community of people along with the skill and strategy of the game.  She was immediately hooked.

When Tammie isn’t on either board she enjoys time with her family.  “Family, work and darts, that’s my life!  I am very excited for the ADA and being a part of this growing association!”

The ADA Home Office welcomes Tammie back to the ADA Family and look forward to her league success!
