Welcome ADA Rep Tabitha Thompson
The American Darters Association (ADA) would like to welcome our newest Representative, Tabitha Thompson to our growing dart family! Tabitha is representing the greater Shelby County, Tennessee area, along with some surrounding areas in Mississippi and Arkansas.
Tabitha has been involved in our sport of darts since 2006. Johnny, her husband along with herself has ran independent leagues in the past and she has a great knowledge of the local players. They are both looking forward to meeting and recruiting new ones and they get their feet wet with the new ADA Rep position.
Tabitha joined our ADA Family as a member in 2013. She has been a member, team captain, competed in both ADA Regionals and ADA Nationals. But she wanted more than just to become a member. “I decided to become an ADA Rep because of the love and fun of the sport. I want to build the area and members to a strong presence in the sport of darts”. Well she has came to the right place! Like Tabitha’s area, we continue to grow across the nation!
She adds, “What I like best about the ADA is the ‘family aspect’ that I have become part of and love how each ADA Rep is there to help the other build and make the sport stronger”.
When she’s not promoting the ADA or throwing darts (which is rare) she switches from her Dart Family to her immediate family which includes her wonderful grandchildren.
We are happy to have Tabitha now a part of the ADA Rep Team! “Coming from the Nationals in Memphis this past July, we know Tabitha will have her work cut out for her. But we also know she has a good head on her shoulders and can do the job, the ADA way!” ADA CEO Gloria Remick states.
Tabitha concludes: “I want each member to know that I will be there to support them and the sport. I want members to know that they can come to me with any and all issues they have so we can resolve them. Even if you think “I” was wrong, because being a new Rep, I will make mistakes. But WE ARE A TEAM! And as long as we stand together we WILL make this a strong and growing area. Lets move forward and have a great time playing darts. So I ask that you help me help you make the 380 Area the best”!!!
