ADA/ADL Pro Events Are Back in Kansas City!

Earlier this month, ADA Rep, Chris Stone and I loaded up the ADA van with a DARTSLIVE 2 Machine and hit the road to the other side of Missouri, Kansas City. New ADA Reps David Seibert and Cliff Mutchler hosted their first ever Pro Challenge/Blind Draw Bounty at Side Pockets Lees Summit. Side Pockets is located at 224 NW Oldham Pkwy; they also host American Dart League play.
Out of the six Professionals in the ADA Area 641, five were able to come for the challenge: David Strickland, Michael Clary, Jim Yates, Davey Jones and David Collins. The professionals were treated with free entry fees, free food, beer buckets and free quarters! The Professionals were each assigned a board to take on the many players ready to challenge them. Players faced off against each 641 Pro in a single game of Open 501, open in/double out/split bull. Out of the hour or so of play, the Pros lost only a few matches. The final winners of the Pro Challenge were: Ashley McAuther and Dustin Terry! Congratulations to you both, and thanks for playing!
Prior to the event at Side Pockets; David and Cliff put on their sponsorship hats and went out to local businesses. They worked hard to obtain gifts, raffle items and prizes for all the attending members and players; including Kansas City Royals baseball tickets! Other items included; Golf balls, ADA Flights, Unicorn Darts, Budweiser T-shirts, Sports Clips Haircuts and more!
The next and final event of the day, was the Blind Draw Bounty with over $400 in prize money awarded! This event is a normal Blind Draw format, but with an extra money incentive added. If a team knocked out one or more of the 641 Professionals in the Draw completely; each partner received $5.00 each per Pro, on the spot! Nothing beats a bonus payout in a Blind Draw on the way to the top. There were 30+ players in these events and additional 20+ spectators. James Doran’s staff at Side Pockets did an excellent job taking care of us too! What a great time!

1st: Robert Ralston / Jim Yates $200
2nd: Dave Collins / Davey Jones $120
3rd: Mike Clary / David Smith $40
4th: Dustin Terry / Scott Walden $20
