| Stefanina Roderick Vitale and her family migrated to the United States from Cinisi, Sicily (a small town just outside of Palermo, Italy) at the age of 14. She worked for years in the garment district of St.Louis and spent some time on “The Hill” (famous for many fine Italian Restaurants) before moving west and opening the first Stefanina’s Restaurant and Pizzeria in in O’Fallon, Missouri.Many years and several expansions later, one of Stefanina’s daughters decided to sell their Wentzville location to longtime employee Denise Gannon, her husband Ryan, and her brother and sister-in-law Greg and Kristin Raeman. Denise had become an employee of Stefanina’s ® in 1985 and learned the restaurant business from the ground up from Stefanina’s ®family. She also received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Missouri, Columbia in 1993. The Gannons and Raemans took ownership of this location in 2000 and strive to uphold the quality and tradition that Stefanina began 30 years ago and continue to honor her original recipes.
With the help of Denise and Greg’s parents, along with cousins and other family members , we are proud to remain a small and independent family-owned business. In addition to valuable family members, much of the rest of our staff, both in the kitchen and dining room, have been dedicated employees for 10, even 20+ years. We consider them family and know that our customers appreciate familiar smiling faces each time they dine with us. In addition to providing the Wentzville area a family-friendly environment to enjoy fresh pizza and pastas in our restaurant, we also offer a number of different services. We are happy to deliver all of our menu items to your home or place of business or feel free to give us a call and carry out a convenient and delicious meal.
