ADA Professionals Win Qualifiers for Myrtle Beach

The ADA Home Office would like to congratulate ADA Professionals Mark Hinds (Virginia Beach, VA) and Chris Greene (Belleville IL) for winning each Steel Tip Qualifiers in their respected areas to head to Myrtle Beach for the Ghost on the Coast, October 30th – November 1st 2015.
Mark’s qualifier was held at Fairfax Revolution which also hosts American Dart League play. Fairfax Revolution is located at 9687 FAIRFAX BLVD, FAIRFAX, VA 22031. There were 19 men in the Regional qualifier. The top 2 from each bracket advanced to a 501 round robin playoff match. In the Finals Mark went 7 – 2. The two games he did lose was the first two matches and then caught fire. His opponents in the final bracket were Chris Linkous, Hank Schroeder and fellow ADA Professional Douglas Deremer. Mark is no stranger to the Ghost on the Coast as he makes his 6th appearance there. He is accompanied by his sweetheart and one of our wonderful ADA Representatives Sue Lyons. “We like to treat ourselves to a little get-a-way, not only for darts but to celebrate our birthday’s as well”, states Mark. Mark Hinds has been playing in the ADA since January 2005.

Chris Greene’s local qualifier was held at a very popular darts bar here in the mid west: 94 Bistro. 94 Bistro is your location for steel and soft tip darts. The 94 Bistro is located at 3004 S Saint Peters Pkwy, Saint Charles, MO 63303. He won this event and then played for the main qualifier trip at the Mid West Summer Classic dart tournament. The Summer Classic is an annual steel tip tournament for players of all kinds. For this qualifier a total of 12 men made the initial bracket with the same top 4 making it to the 501 Round Robin Qualifier. His opponent in the finals match was another fellow ADA Professional Brian Obrecht. This will be Chris’s first time attending the Ghost on the Coast: “it will be a nice change to get out of the mid west to another highly popular darts area for some great competition and fun.” He also looks forward to represent Dynasty Darts out of Mount Morris, IL. Chris has a been a member of the ADA since January 2000 and a member of Dynasty Darts less than a year.
