Welcome new ADA Rep Len Knobbs!
The American Darters Association (ADA) would like to welcome our newest Representative Len Knobbs! Len is taking over the Seminole, Volusia, St. Johns and Flagler County areas in Florida.
Len is fresh off the bus getting his first full year in the ADA this month. He has been throwing darts for an impressive 42 years and loves the members that make up the American Darters Association!
Long time ADA Rep Pete Musslewhite was looking for a break in the “captain’s chair” with running the league and noticed that Len had a passion for the game, his teammates and the association. One league night he took Len aside and asked for him to take the reigns. He graciously accepted and began the promotions with Pete’s guidance. But don’t think Pete went far, he is currently a team captain in Len’s Tuesday Night In-house league at the Ice House Saloon. Thanks Pete for all your hard work and dedication over the years!
Aside from Knobbs love of darts, he is a motorcycling enthusiast and attends bike rallies in Daytona, FL. Len is a retired Fire Lieutenant from Philadelphia, PA after 32 years of service. Played in Quaker City Dart League in Philly starting in 1978. Then moved on to the Old City Steel Shooters in St. Augustine, FL. He also co-founder of Palm Coast Steel tip Shooter in Fall of 2009. So needless to say Len has a great darts history!
Len has current American Dart Leagues and events already going and planned for the new year. If you live in one of the areas mentioned above and want to join contact Len with the information below.
We look forward to having Len represent his area and members well in 2016! Thanks for being a part of the ADA Family!
