Happy Holidays! The BPT's are held on the last Wednesday of each month, while the ADA Challenges can be any day of the week during the month.
ADA Pros take on challengers in a doubles game of 501. There is no entry fee with prizes awarded throughout the evening. Even though Pros are involved this event is not geared for the best darters. In fact, quite the opposite as this evening is a lot of fun mixed with great competitive darts.
Starting time is 8:00 PM and participants enter with the ADA management team selecting their partner through a draw doubles format. During the two hours of competition any of the teams that defeat the Pros qualify for the 10:00 PM playoff with two grand prizes awarded at the end. Host locations change each month.
Sponsorship of the program comes from the local Anheuser-Busch wholesaler. Unfortunately not all are currently involved in the program so check the "Upcoming Events" section of the ADA home page for the tavern in your market.
DAYTONA BEACH, FL
Congratulations to Jay Knouse and fellow Pro Jen Walden, the only team to beat local ADA Pros, Ott McNeely and Debbie Sapp at last week's Pro Tour. Of the 18 participants, many of the league's top darters were in attendance, with an abundance of scores above 100 thrown in competition. There were many close games but somehow the Pros managed to squeak out all but one game of 501 open in, double out. Thank you to Mangos for hosting the event, Daytona Beverages and Budweiser for their continued sponsorship, and of course to all who attended. Look for the 2010 Pro list to be released soon and for the Pro Challenge to continue in upcoming months. Happy New Year to all!!

O' FALLON, MO
December 30th 2009, the last Bud Pro Tour of the year took place at Andoro's Pizza in a showdown for the highlight reels. Twelve people came out to match their skills against two of St. Charles County's finest Pro Darters, Paul Schaeffler and Deb Kornmann. With some pretty stiff competition the Pro's walked away with a 7-6 score. Even with all the competitiveness of the tour challenge everyone had a great time. Most all participants walked away with some kind of prize from Budweiser and Krey Distributing. A big thanks to them for sponsoring the tour in 2009.
The Owner of Andoro's, Vince Andoro, made us all feel right at home. Andoros is located off Hwy M in O'Fallon and has some of the lowest drink prices around! And not only is Vince a location owner but he is also a dart player, and a good one at that!
"The cold really put a damper on tonight's tour numbers, but we thank everyone that came" said ADA Employee, Ashley Stallman.
"The Monthly Budweiser Pro Tour is an all around winner", comments Remick, "from January to even year end December, everyone comes out and has a great night of darts".
The top four winners of this tour were:
Rebecca Wallace and Duane Timmerman
Jerry Faulkner and Jeff Kornmann
Bob Smith and Brandon (from Andoros)
The big winners were Derek Dressler and Greg Wells who shot some really good darts. We look forward to the first one in 2010. If you think you can take on the Pro's check out our website to see where the next one is.
