The annual “Manager of the Year” is a very prestigious award. It is presented to the ADA Representative who, throughout the year, performs outstanding service to the sport of darts.
The ADA is proud to present this year’s award to Delaware’s ADA Representative, Steve Allen. Coming from the membership ranks Steve joined the ADA Management “family” in the summer of 2008. Since then he has gone up in team count every season in his Franchise area. Over the past year he assisted in the Mid Atlantic Regional Championships, has volunteered to serve on the Cricket Neutralizer Committee and has gained the support of his local AB Wholesaler.
In order for any business to be successful a careful “balance” must be developed and maintained. Steve has accomplished both by working with the dozens of Delaware American Dart League host locations and team captains while establishing a positive relationship with the amusement operators who provide the dart machines in his market. He is also involved in the Bud Pro Tour which is gaining great momentum and new members in his area.
Glenn Remick, ADA Pres., adds, “The adage, ‘a chain is as strong as its weakest link’, certainly applies to our Management operation. We are very proud to have a “strong link” here representing the great state of Delaware. This award is well deserved and we are very proud to present it to him.”
