The ADA hits 6 of the 8 Regions for the month of May’s Bud Pro Tour!
The BPT's are held on the last Wednesday of each month, while the ADA Pro Challenges can be any day of the week during the month. ADA Pros take on challengers in a doubles game of 501. There is no entry fee with prizes awarded throughout the evening.
Even though Pros are involved this event is not geared for the best darters. In fact, quite the opposite as this evening is a lot of fun mixed with great competitive darts. Starting time is 8:00 PM and participants enter with the ADA management team selecting their partner through a draw doubles format.
During the two hours of competition any of the teams that defeat the Pros qualify for the 10:00 PM playoff with two grand prizes awarded at the end. Host locations change each month. Sponsorship of the program comes from the local Anheuser-Busch wholesaler.
Unfortunately not all are currently involved in the program so check the “Upcoming Events” section of the ADA home page for the tavern in your market.
May Budweiser Pro Tour Richford, VT
Location: Ricochet
ADA Pros: Lorne Langlais (24 PPDA) & Sophie Vibert (13 PPDA)
The month of May takes us to the northern most tip of Vermont with only 5 miles separating us from the Canadian border. A little place called Ricochet, managed by Claude Desotelle.
With continued support from Farrell Dist., Budweiser provided some very nice prizes, including a set of darts for each of the winners of the evening. This was by far the biggest tour event to date for the ADA Region 1 area. There were 35 to 40 people present and everybody there were quality dart players, which posed quite a challenge for the Pros.
In all, ADA Pros Lorne and Sophie played a total of 26 matches losing only 3. Most of the night Lorne would be the set up man hitting the highs of 120’s and 140’s. Dropping the score down, enough for Pro partner Sophie to take her outs.
Out of the 23 games the pros won Sophie hit an amazing 17 of the outs for the finish including a 108 and a 112!! The winners of the night for the set of darts was the team of Matt and Brenda. Congrats to both of them and a big thank you to everyone who played that night.

May Budweiser Pro Tour Newark, Delaware
Location: On The Rocks
ADA Pros: John White (24 PPDA) & Denise Reisinger (20 PPDA)
Just down the street from Vermont, we come to ADA Region 2, in Newark, Delaware to the host location of “On The Rocks”.
On The Rocks is owned by ex-ADA Franchisee Kim Burnett. “We are glad that Kim didn’t go too far and is still supporting the Delaware ADA”, adds ADA President Glenn Remick.
ADA Pros John White and Denise Reisinger took on 22 doubles teams, winning 13 of those matches. John White managed to hit 4 Ton80’s on the night. Region 2’s Pro Tour was sponsored by NKS Dist. & Budweiser and had some great prizes to give away including Bud hats and shirts.
The BPT seems to be gaining some momentum as this month’s tour had a 60% increase over last months. “I think with the support of Budweiser and the location, along with the great ADA members I have, this tour is going to catch fire” says ADA Franchisee Steve Allen.
Grand winners of the night were Craig and Kevin. Congrats to them and everyone that came to throw! See you next month!

May Budweiser Pro Tour Daytona Beach Shores
Location: The Metz Lounge I
ADA Pros: Chris Ridley (21.47 PPDA) & Janet Funk (14.33 PPDA)
So far on the tour, we have hit Regions 1 & 2, so why not make it consistent and go with 3.
Region 3 brings us to the Daytona Beach Shores and the Metz Lounge I. ADA Pros Chris Ridley and Janet Funk took on 6 teams over the course of the evening and only losing one match!
Daytona Beverages and American Ale sponsored the event with some great prizes throughout the night and the grand prizes went to the winners of Ted Poock and Kish Vasaniee.
High score of the night was a Ton71, with seven or more Ton20’s or higher by our Pros. “With only losing one match, and all the Tons thrown by our Pros, you can tell that the ADA’s Certified Pro Program is the real deal” comments Franchise Owner Pete Musslewhite.
A big thanks to everyone who came out to the tour in May and see you in June!

May ADA Bud Pro Tour O’Fallon MO
Location: Motley’s Pub
ADA Pros: Paul Schaeffler (25.86) & Deb Kornmann (15.57)
Motley’s is a great location with two Valley dart machines. They set up a grill in the backyard offering shrimp, brats, kabobs and hot dogs. This is a new location for the ADA and we look forward to them sponsoring teams for the American Dart League at the start of the next session.
Paul and Deb tossed some great darts playing ten 501 games (straight start/double out) in the two hour match. They won seven against doubles teams that were randomly drawn.
Paul put together a pair of 180’s. Deb finished with 15.57 points per dart, 1.1 points over her national average. Paul threw 24.06 points per dart 2.9 below his average. The three teams that defeated the Pros played off for the two sets of Unicorn tungsten darts.
Congrats to champions Phil Lucido and Mark Perez.
Thanks again to the staff at Motley’s for making the Bud Pro Tour a great evening and to our Anheuser-Busch wholesaler, Krey Distributing who provided many Budweiser premiums for all entries and special prizes that were awarded throughout the evening.
We look forward to the June Bud Pro Tour scheduled for Aftershocks in Wentzville, Missouri on Wednesday, June 24th.

May ADA Bud Pro Tour Metairie LA
Location: Third Base Sports Bar
ADA Pro: Charlie Berthelot (19.93 PPDA) & Mal Nolasco (12.99 PPDA)
Even though the New Orleans area is not know for baseball, it is known for the location, Third Base Sports Bar in Metairie. Third Base Sports bar hosted the May Bud Pro Tour with ADA Pros Charlie Berthelot & Mal Nolasco. “Third Base is an excellent location for darts in our area, along with their great staff and prices, they are definitely an ADA Approved location” says ADA League Manager Keith Bordlee.
Charlie and Mal took on 15 teams and winning 12! A lot of tons and good darts were thrown!
