 As we begin to look forward to the cooler days of autumn the Budweiser Pro Tour continues to heat up. The area with the biggest news for July’s Tour goes to Kansas City and ADA member Patricia Tuckness. Talk about being at the right place at the right time!!! No where else in darts can darters walk into an event, participate with no entry fee, and win an all expense trip to the Bahamas! Read on……

Kansas City Bud Pro Tour

It pays to play the ADA Pros. Just ask Patricia Tuckness, “I stopped by Sidepockets in Lees Summit to compete against ADA Certified Pro Jim Yates (25.6 ppda). There were a couple dozen darters there including ADA Division Rep Mitch Ford. In addition to being an ADA DR Mitch is also a Sales Rep for County Beverage, the KC Anheuser-Busch wholesaler. He provided all who attended an invite to the Bud Light Lime Launch Party. We decided to attend and this qualified us for the random grand prize draw, a trip for two all expenses paid to the Bahamas. As luck would have it I won! It will take place over the Halloween holiday and I can invite a guest to accompany me. They fly us to Florida where we attend a Halloween Party then the cruise to the Bahamas. Immediately following the cruise is a private concert (band to be announced). I’ll take some photos and provide a report upon my return. This is totally awesome!”
Sales Rep Mitch Ford adds, “Budweiser and County Beverage is proud to support the ADA’s Budweiser Pro Tour. This is a great event that creates a fun atmosphere and offers something for the best KC darters and to the novices. We congratulate Patricia on winning the Bud Light Lime Bahamas cruise. In regards to the Pro Shoot, Jim Yates is our only Certified Pro and he played 15 darters losing one game to Jordan Myers and tossing five 180’s! It was a great night of darts and we look forward to the August Budweiser Pro Tour.
New Orleans Budweiser Pro Tour

The Budweiser Pro Tour for July was held at Jiggers Bar & Grill a hot spot for steel tip darts in Metairie, La. Pro's Chris Dove (18.3) and Brandy Orgeron (12.9) teamed up just prior to heading out to the ADA Pro Darters Championship in Orlando, Florida. They played a total of 15 matches going undefeated!
Chris Dove is the reigning 2007 Steel-Tip Pro Champion and was anxious to defend his title. Brandy Orgeron was the runner-up in the Women’s Steel-Tip last year going and looks forward to capturing the title this year.

Budweiser Pro Tour

With over 24 participants the Bud Pro Tour rolled into Teachers Sports Bar in St. Charles. Certified Pros Duane Timmerman (21.5) and Deb Kornmann (14.5) took on 17 soft tip doubles challengers winning 11. Duane finished with a 18.9, Deb with a 14.5.
Thanks to Cindy, Larry and Karl for the Bud Pro Tour reports. A reminder there is no entry fee to participate in the ADA’s Bud Pro Tour. In fact you don’t even have to be a member….just bring your darts. Budweiser prizes are awarded throughout the evening and tungsten Unicorn darts were awarded as grand prizes for the month of July.
