The world’s longest running
International darts match!
For the third straight year the ADA is proud to host the world’s longest running international darts match.
From Daytona to St. Louis and now Newport News, Virginia the advantage of telephone darts matches are they can be held anywhere. This year it will take place on April 20th, the final day of the Mid Atlantic Region Championship hosted by the Point Plaza Suites in Newport News. In England it takes place at the Princess Alexandra Pub in Northampton.
Teleconferencing technology will allow you to witness the action from the comforts of your home via teleconferencing. Simply dial 646-519-5860 then the four digit conference pin number 5011 to join in with 500 other callers.
The teams comprise of ten players who play a mix of 601 Triples, 501 Doubles & 501 Singles. The staged match includes audio speakers so participants and spectators can actually hear every dart "thumping" into the dartboard from England! ADA President & Honorary Captain Glenn Remick will emcee the match along with his counterpart Captain Horace Handley describing the action of the match. Horace is a local celebrity holding the title as the city of Northampton Town's Crier.
Four of the ADA’s ten person team qualified from events held by eastern VA Franchisees Rob Coleman and Joe Serina. The remaining six members will qualify from single games of 501 held at the Mid Atlantic Regional.
The match begins at 1 PM EST, 7 PM in England. Don’t miss it!
