Hooters now has darts! Under an agreement with Hooters of America and the American Darters Association the "Hooters Dart League" gets underway the first week of December. This “private label” league is identical to the ADA’s Express League and provides flexibility to customize to Hooters standards. The Hooters Dart League play will begin in two St. Louis area locations; the downtown Kiener Plaza St. Louis, MO restaurant and the Florissant Hooters.
The Kiener Plaza Hooters is within walking distance of the three St. Louis professional teams (Blues, Rams & Cardinals) so Hooters Darts League matches will be scheduled around dates their restaurant will be packed with an overflow of fans after games. Hooter Kiener Plaza Manager John Dennk adds, “When we made the decision to expand into darts we selected the ADA because of their reputation in the darts industry. Like Hooters the ADA is a respected national franchise operation. When the program grows we can expect consistency and quality. It is a win-win situation and we look forward to a long-term relationship with them.” The Florissant location opened in April of this year and is anxious to get started. General Manager Brian Fisher adds, "Our customer base are very competitive and we look forward to our winning teams challenging the Kiener Plaza Hooters location."
Budweiser is the official beer of the St. Louis Hooters Dart League program and AB wholesaler Rep Gerry Armstrong likes the direction the two Franchises are headed, "We've been a long supporter of the ADA and I'm not surprised Hooters has connected with them. It makes sense."
Needless to say the ADA is excited as well and will keep you informed on as Hooters Dart League activities occur.
